Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot? Relax and Stay Cool with a Pool Lounger

Pool Lounge with Canopy

What’s the number one way to stay cool and relaxed in the swimming pool on hot summer days?  Hopping up and down in the water is certainly cooling, but most people don’t want to do this for extended periods of time.  The other alternative is lounging pool side on the patio furniture.  While this may be comfortable and relaxing, it isn’t particularly cooling.

Pool lounges offer the best of both worlds in that they allow you to stay cool in the pool while stretching out comfortably at the same time.  Some pool lounges come equipped with adjustable canopy tops that give you control over the amount of sun exposure you have.  Some lounges include drink holders and comfort features like head rests, foot rests, and reclining backs.  Finding the ideal pool lounge is simply a matter of knowing which features you desire most.

Achieving that perfect balance of outdoor relaxation and relief from the heat is easy when you have a pool lounge at your fingertips.  Nothing else meets those two needs as effectively.

This Year’s Goal: A Clutter-Free Pool

The Pool Pantry

For many homeowners, the start of swimming pool season is at hand.  But, it’s also the start of a season full of clutter and mess around the pool.  Pool floats, pool toys, life vests, and towels can often be found strewn around the pool deck — flung over chairs, floating in the pool, sunk to the bottom of the pool…

Keeping pool gear neat and tidy doesn’t have to be a chore when you have a pool organizing station to help.  The Pool Pantry is one such organizer.  The space-saving Pool Pantry keeps floats, toys, and other pool accessories neatly contained so that the pool area remains uncluttered and easy to navigate.  When properly stored, pool accessories last longer, too.

With everyone’s help, maintaining a clean and clutter-free pool area is possible.  A smart solution like the Pool Pantry makes cleaning up fun and easy.

Smart Summer Solution: Keep the Party in the Pool

Pool Party Pool Furniture

The last thing most people want to do once they’re in the swimming pool is get out of the swimming pool.  Sure, getting out is necessary sometimes, but it would be great to be able to enjoy that refreshing water as long as possible.  Whether it’s lunch time, snack time, or party time, you can stay in the pool longer thanks to Pool Party Pool Furniture which is designed to go in the shallow end of your pool.

Pool Party Pool Furniture is not floating furniture, nor is it affixed in any way to the pool’s bottom.  Two key ingredients make this pool furniture unique.  First, the furniture pieces are designed to fill quickly with water when submerged so that they are naturally weighted down in the pool.  Second, specialized foot pads prevent the furniture legs from damaging the pool bottom, no matter what material it’s made from.  Pool Party Furniture can be used on the pool deck, too.  The water-filled pieces drain quickly as they are lifted out of the water.

Kids, teens, and adults appreciate the convenience and novelty of lounging on the patio furniture and enjoying the pool at the same time.  Visit with friends, chat on the phone, read a book, or enjoy a meal without having to leave the water.  Pool Party Pool Furniture is a smart and innovative solution for pool-loving families.

Break a World Record and Help Prevent Drowning

Swimming Safety

You can help set a world record on June 14, 2011, when you join the “World’s Largest Swimming Lesson” in your community.  The goal of this event is to raise awareness about the importance of teaching children how to swim.   A whopping 3,971 people from 34 states and 5 countries participated in this event in 2010 — you can help break that record in 2011.

The “World’s Largest Swimming Lesson” was put together by a coalition of the nation’s leading water safety and training organizations, including the International Swim Instructors Association, National Recreation and Parks Association, United States Swim School Association, and the World Waterpark Association, among others.  By raising awareness about water safety, these organizations hope to reduce incidents of accidental drowning, which is the second leading cause of death for children ages 1-14.

To find out where you can participate in the “World’s Largest Swimming Lesson” in your community, or to become a host facility for this record-breaking event, visit the event website at www.worldslargestswimminglesson.org.

The Key Ingredient for Endless Summer Fun at Home

Above Ground Pool

Summer vacations aren’t as appealing in 2011, thanks to painfully high gas prices and a poor economy.  Staying home and saving money is becoming the plan of choice for more and more homeowners.  Summer “staycations” don’t need to be a drag, though, if you provide the proper entertainment.

Without a doubt, the easiest, most cost-effective and boredom busting way to create a high quality summer vacation at home is to install an above ground pool.  More affordable than in ground pools, above ground pools offer year after year of warm weather fun and entertainment for family and friends.  Above ground pools are an ideal destination for neighborhood gatherings, holiday celebrations, and private family relaxation.  They also provide a fun way for adults and kids to burn energy and stay fit.

Summer vacations are more enjoyable for everyone when the long days are filled with engaging activity.  Nothing fulfills that need more effectively than a swimming pool full of water.  Above ground pools offer so much in the way of entertainment that they are, arguably, the only ingredient necessary for the ideal summer “staycation.”
