Overlap: Overlap liners are made so that the excess liner material on the pool wall, simply overlaps the pool wall.  If your pool has a 48", 52" or even a 54" high wall, they can all use this same liner. Pull over the wall, hold in place with coping strips and then trim off the excess material.
