Halt Algaecide kills and prevents algae growth in your pool, spa or hot tub. The low foaming formula will not discolor hair or swimsuits and you can swim immediately after applying the Halt Algaecide. 1 quart will treat up to 240,000 gallons. Make sure your pool circulation is good because algae growth is common when your pool has poor circulation and when the disinfectant level, or algaecide content, in the water is low or neglected. Running your pool's filtration system for at least 8 to 10 hours a day and regular use of Halt Algaecide will keep your pool algae free. This concentrated algaecide is good for all types and strains of algae: Green, Yellow, Black and Mustard algae.
